Advanced improv

Improv veterans and those who are looking to expand or touch up their skills, our Advanced Booster Shots are for you! You must have completed our Improv 101 class or have previous theater improv experience to sign up, as well as be at least 18 years old.

Our Advanced Booster Shots will focus on a specific area of improv where you can grow and develop. These 2-week intensives will help hone your character creation, solidify storytelling and more! Keep an eye out, as the aspects these classes will cover will change month to month.

Cost: $50 for each two-week "shot."

Character

This class will cover not only creating an “instant” character in the moment fromscratch, but by using improvisational tools, also learning how to make and portray deep, rich characters.

Storytelling

Improvised storytelling. This class will cover the basic components of story structure, and then using the tools of improv, playing with that recipe of of storytelling.

Yes / And & If / Then

This class does a deep examination of a core tenant of improv, yes / and. No buts about it, the course will unapologetically focus on the concept of agreement and using the principal of yes/and/if/then to create unique ideas and stories.
